Recently, some big changes have been happening at Park City Mountain. The resort is in the middle of a $50 million improvement project aimed at combining Park City Mountain Resort with Canyons Resort. Those looking for a second home or a vacation getaway now have a great reason to move to the powered hills during the 2015-2016 ski season.
Goodbye Snow Hut Lodge, Hello Miner’s Camp
When skiers get off the slope for the day, they can check into the new Miner’s Camp. Whether you want a hot lunch or a quick evening warm up, this 500-seat eatery will serve hot soups, tossed salads, and sandwiches. Miner’s Camp will be a staple of the new skiing experience.
The new ski experience is going to be huge, so snow enthusiasts will need an efficient way to get around. Quicksilver is a new gondola that will connect the Silverlode and Flat Iron lifts. Now, skiers can enjoy old favorite runs and some of the new runs that are being added to the mountain. The new Quicksilver lift will offer stunning views of Park City, Old Town, and Canyon Village once completed.
Why Not Get a Second Home?
You can live anywhere near Park City Mountain to get in on the action. Luxury homes are available in Park City, Cottonwood Heights, and the Avenues in Salt Lake City for you to get away from business during the height of the ski season.
